Terms of Service

Welcome to Daily News Puzzle. By accessing or using our website at www.dailynewspuzzle.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Organized Khaos ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Description of Service

Daily News Puzzle is a free-to-play daily word search puzzle game based on trending news from Ghana. A new puzzle is generated each day, and players can track their streaks, compete on leaderboards, and earn achievements.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

3. User Accounts

• You may use the Service as a guest (no account required) or create an account using email/password or Google sign-in.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Submit offensive, inappropriate, or misleading usernames to the leaderboard
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings, streaks, or achievements through automated means, bots, or exploits
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to collect or harvest personal information about other users

5. Game Rules and Streaks

• A new puzzle is available each day. Completing the puzzle within the day counts toward your streak.
• Missing a day resets your streak to zero.
• We may offer a paid grace period (24 hours) to restore a broken streak. Any such purchase is final and non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to reset or modify streaks, leaderboard entries, or achievements if we detect cheating or abuse.

6. Payments and Purchases

Certain features of the Service (such as streak restoration) may require payment. Payments are processed through third-party providers (Paystack, Hubtel, or Stripe). All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. You agree to the payment provider's terms when making a purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and game mechanics, is owned by Organized Khaos and is protected by intellectual property laws.
• News content referenced in puzzles is sourced from publicly available RSS feeds and is attributed to the original publishers.
• You may share your puzzle results (score, completion time) on social media. You may not reproduce or redistribute the puzzle content itself.

8. User-Generated Content

When you submit a username or appear on the leaderboard, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that information as part of the Service. We reserve the right to remove any username we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.

9. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed during gameplay. Ad content is provided by third parties and we do not endorse the products or services advertised.

10. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
• News content featured in puzzles is for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
• We are not responsible for any loss of game data, streaks, or achievements due to technical issues, browser settings, or device changes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Organized Khaos and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (if any).

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
